Goole’s Bonfire Night is set to return with a bang - with tickets on sale now!
Tickets for this year’s fireworks spectacular in Goole’s West Park can be booked from 10am today, with the popular event taking place on Wednesday November 5. Over the last three years, the spectacular musical display has become a firm favourite with crowds over 6,000 attending each year. Once again, Optimum Fireworks will be lighting up the town’s skies, fresh from their triumph at this year’s Spectacular British Musical Fireworks Championship where the company was crowned Champion of Champions after dazzling judges and audiences with a breathtaking display choreographed to music.
The soundtrack to this year’s event celebrates some of the biggest musical moments and artists of the last year, and includes a preview of some of the music you can expect to see in the town’s Christmas Show – Sleeping Beauty, which will be performed at Junction Goole in December.
The night will also feature a funfair and food and drink stalls. Gates open from 4pm for people to enjoy the fair, with the bonfire lit at 6pm, and the main firework display at 6.30pm. Cllr James Cooper, Mayor of Goole, said: “This year is really set to be a bumper display – not only have we managed to secure the British Champion of Champions display team through Optimum Fireworks, but we’ve also extended the length of the display with more music than ever before. Goole Town Council can once again promise the event will return with a bang.” Tickets for the event are on sale from 10am today (Thursday October9 ) via Junction Goole and can be purchased online at junctiongoole.co.uk, in person at Junction’s Box Office, or on the phone on 01405 763652. Tickets can also be purchased on the gate. Tickets cost £6 each in advance (book by November 2), or £7 from November 3 and on the gate (card only on the gate).
